Each of us has our own memories and story to tell from our time at GW. Thousands of individual GW stories come together to create a rich, diverse community – our GW.
In the same way, thousands of individual gifts from alumni, parents, and friends come together to make a real impact on GW and its students today. Annual gifts are put to use immediately across the university, supporting students and faculty as they not only study the world but also work to change it.
Please make a gift to support our GW, and share your GW story. You could be featured on this website or in an upcoming publication.

Up To The Challenge
They did it! In January 2012, GW Trustee Nelson Carbonell, SEAS '85 and his wife Michele challenged the 2012 Senior Class to reach 50% participation and they would support the GW Power & Promise Fund for student aid with $50,000 in honor of the class. The 2012 Senior Class Gift Committee achieved a record-shattering 50% participation in giving this year. More than 1,100 seniors gave as part of the campaign, supporting schools and departments, scholarships, student organizations, and more. The Class of 2012 is leading the way with the biggest senior class gift from the most seniors in GW history.

Advice for the graduating class of 2012: "The next chapter of your GW experience begins now. Engage with the young alumni network as a way to connect with fellow alumni. Participate in regional club activities, join the GW LinkedIn group, follow GW on Facebook and Twitter, attend networking nights, continue to challenge yourself academically by attending our alumni speakers series or by auditing a course: all these and more are ways to stay connected to GW and reap the rewards of a powerful affiliation."
